Sunday

Well giddyup Cowboys! Just watching the end of the game with Pi (who is also packing for him trip to Denmark). Gone till Saturday the off to ATL on Sunday. It shoudl be a fairly quiet week for me, maybe start the workout regime.

So some ideas for the house:

1. Backsplash and above cabinets. Saw a demo on how to use vinyl flooring to do this and found this which I think will look good with the blonde cabinets and the gray counters (and gray paint I am thinking). Is gray too dull for a kitchen?

#2. Some sectional ideas:

Not sure if the room can handle the greenish one...

#3. Redoing lightbulbs with energy saving ones. Go Green People!

#4. Table for the kitchen:

#5. There's no need to shop for nightstands since the only thing that's going to fit in our room is the bed. So we can cross that off the list.

#6. Not sure if they sold their patio furniture this weekend at their garage sale, but I guess that will be on the books soon too. I really like the firepit they have in the back, so maybe I'll check out craigslist.

And ideas on the above items, window treatments, colors for the other rooms, desks and office, well you get the idea, are most welcome. We are so excited! I mean seriously excited. Peaceout.

I like the second couch with the wood, very nice! Yeah for energy saving light bulbs, I started that too. They look funny in some things... oh well, guess I will have to get a new LR fan... darn. When is move-in day?

Ummm i like the first couch and for the only reason that the white will be sooooo hard to keep clean. The grey will hide stains better. As for the going green, my house in manhattan is already there. We use those terrible light bulbs, no heat, and seldom lights in general. I really like the table and chairs, very nice! great success.
